Tokyo

Hi guys, how’s it going? Today, I’m going to introduce my recommended spots in Tokyo.

First, my recommended spot is the teamLab. There are two teamLabs in Tokyo. One is in Odaiba. Another one is in Toyosu. I’ve never been to the Toyosu one, so I would like to talk about teamLab in Odaiba. This place is famous in the world as one of Japan’s sightseeing spots. Not only Japanese people, but also tourists from other countries and celebrities come there to see the beautiful light world. You can experience several unique worlds made from various lights. Among them, my favorite world in teamlab is Forest of Lamps. When I was there, I felt like I was in a fantasy film like Disney.

Next, my favorite place is Tokyo Metropolitan government building. At the top, you can overlook Tokyo, which is really nice. But that's not the main point. There is a piano which anyone can play. People who play this piano almost always have really good skill. Tourists on that floor can listen to music played by someone who is really good at playing the piano. The accompaniment plays popular songs. You will like it.

There are a lot of nice bars and pubs in Tokyo. Actually, I used to go drinking and chatting to strangers in Shibuya, Tokyo. People who like doing that should go there when things return to normal.

Yamanashi - Beautiful Nature and Mt. Fuji

Hello everyone. Today, I am going to talk about some sightseeing places in Yamanashi. You can see Mt. Fuji perfectly from there. I think Yamanashi is the best place to see Mt, Fuji in Japan. Therefore, I would like to introduce my recommended spots where you can see beautiful Mt. Fuji.

First, I went to Arakurayama Sengen Park (荒倉山浅間公園). The pagoda Gojunoto, is there. I could see Mt. Fuji and Gojunoto at the same time, which was really dramatic. The view is listed in Japan brochures, so it is really famous for tourists from other countries. However, I had to go up the 400 stairs to go that spot, so I was exhausted.

Next, my recommended spot to see Mt, Fuji is Lake Yamanaka (山中湖). The view of the large lake with beautiful Mt, Fuji was amazing. Also, this is a great place to exercise. You can do walking, running and cycling around the lake. I think doing a workout while seeing Mt. Fuji is a really nice experience.

There are other places nearby that you can enjoy too, like Heidi’s Village, Fuji-Q Highland, Narusawa Ice Cave, etc. In one trip, you can do and experience several things. Also, Yamanashi is not so far from Kanagawa. If you want to feel the air of nature, or you are tired by a lot of assignments and want to change your feeling, you should go there in your free time.

Shizuoka 2

Hi guys. How are you? I’d like to introduce Shizuoka again as I said last week. This time, I’m going to introduce two lovely places I went and one place I really want to go.

First, I went to Jogasaki Coast in Ito. It’s about 40 km there so it’s not far from my hometown. It took about one and a half hours by car. I arrived there early evening and the weather was so nice. The scenery was magnificent. Also, there were no fence on the cliff so I could go to the tip of the cliff. It was so cool. Afterwards, I discovered on the Internet that two people died by falling off the cliff, so if you go there, you have to be careful.

Next, I went to Akao Herb and Rose Garden in Atami. It is near my hometown, so it took about 40 minutes by car. It is famous for flowers, but I was not interested in flowers, as I went there in the season of few flowers. Because of that, there were few people there. There was a coffee shop which called Coeda House. Its construction was quite unique, so it was so fashionable. And I ordered Rose cider and a Rose tart. My friend ordered Rose and Orange juice. Every taste was like flowers. Rose cider was tasty, but I didn’t like the Rose tart. I gave it to my friend. Rose and Orange juice tasted like just Orange. Also, there was a swing, so I rode it. I remembered my childhood on this swing. I felt so nostalgic. This picture looks like I’m flying in the sky on the swing.

The place I really want to go is Dougashima Sea Cave. The clear emerald green sea and the mysterious lights and cave look so beautiful. When I go there, I have to join the Dougashima Cave Tour and take a boat. I think I will feel adventurous by that. I can't wait to go there.

Suspension Bridges in Shizuoka

Hi, how’s it going? I would like to introduce nice places in Shizuoka. There are a lot of great sightseeing in places Shizuoka. Also, I really like Shizuoka, and I want you to know more about it. Therefore, I will introduce the same prefectures for two weeks in a row. This time, I am going to talk about two amazing suspension bridges (Tsuribashi).

First, I went to Yume-no-Tsuribashi (Suspension Bridge of Dreams) in Ikawa by car.  It’s about 400 km there and back. Also, I didn’t use the highway, so it took about 4 hours to go there. When I arrived, I thought I could see it finally. However, there was an extremely long line of people waiting to see and cross it. I didn’t expect that, so I was so disappointed. I waited about 2 hours. Finally, I could see and cross it. It was so nice. I think it was the most beautiful suspension bridge I’ve ever seen so far. But there were poor scaffolding and few handrails. Also the bridge was swaying. I was so scared. Also, I was very tired, so I couldn’t enjoy it.

Next, I went to Mishima Sky Walk in Mishima. It’s near the Hakone Jinja. It took about 1 hour from my hometown. Even though the weather was not so good, it was much nicer scenery than I thought. This suspension bridge had sturdy construction, so I could cross it without danger. Also, there was the Forest Adventure where you can do an athletic experience above the trees. I unfortunately couldn’t try it because of the weather, but it looked cool.

If you go to Yume-no Tsuribashi, I recommend that you go there in the morning. Then, I think you can see and cross it easily without too many people. Also, you should check the weather absolutely. Next week, I will introduce these places (the pictures below). So, look forward to it. You are going to love it.

Exploring in Kanagawa

Hi everyone. How are you doing? How was your summer holiday? I don’t think most people could go anywhere or enjoy this summer because of the Coronavirus. I wanted to go to the beach or pool to swim, but I didn’t because I thought if I went there, there would be a lot of people there, and I might get Coronavirus. That’s why I couldn’t. Instead, I went to some sightseeing spots by car, motorcycle and bicycle. This time, I would like to introduce 2 nice places in Kanagawa where I went.

First, I went to Lake Miyagase in Sagamihara by bicycle. Its about 100km there and back from my home town. It was much harder than I thought, but I made it. However,  my whole body, especially my feet and ass were sore. I don’t remember how many times I got a cramp in my leg. The color of the lake is light blue. The weather was not so nice, but the view was beautiful, and the view of the lake with a red bridge was more amazing. But if the weather had been nice, I think the view would have been nicer.

I went to Heiwa-no-Torii and Hakone Jinja in Hakone by motorcycle. Every January I go there to pray so this was kind of my first time to go in another season. I prayed for my health and future. I’ve been there many times but I actually didn’t know Heiwa-no-Torii existed in Hakone. I was kind of embarrassed. Anyway, I was so glad to take this amazing photo.

There are some nice places in Kanagawa where I still haven't been like Sengokuhara Susuki Grass Fields in Hakone, Komayama Park in Hiratsuka etc. I will go there next time.
